Sharon Lockhart, Lunch Break (Video Still) I saw this work in San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA). The work was featured in a dark room in large cinematic scale. The footage for the film was taken in 10 minutes, however the film itself was 40 minutes long. Due to the film being drawn out and slowed down, the audience could become engrossed in the film, traveling down the hallway with the ambient sound of the work place pulling you even further into the picture. The film turns the mundane activity of lunch break into a ground breaking and dramatic event.
